Are Electric cars a viable alternative.

Recommended Posts

Here’s a fact, earlier this year a big storm hit the country, massive parts of the country were without power.

I was without power or water for 11 days, many people went much longer than that.

Across the country it was reported that all the people with EVs couldn’t go anywhere after about 2 days…..no charge left in the car and no way to charge them.

I had a full tank of diesel and was able to get out, get supplies, get bottled water, get to a place to have a hot shower….EV owners were stuck.

I was saying to my pal the other day, who remembers when you could run the older diesels on veg oil ?…..so in theory, if you owned an older diesel you’d always have a way to get out of bother.

You won’t do any of that with a silly electric car.

I’m actually proud of my carbon footprint 20 year old 3.0 litre diesel, when I pop into the services at the Oxford turn off on the M40, and see the great big line of Tesla’s and the like sitting there

We have been ripped off big time with this electric car dream it’s going to die a certain death. I’d never have one, gay, feminine, typical divs car. If you had an emergency call for a serious family

How often has that happened in the UK mate? You're going off worst case apocalypse scenarios, one that's never happened in over here in my lifetime.

I'll take the chance, I'm sure I'll be fine. Last I knew public transport is mostly fuel fed, if a one in a million storm hits England and leaves us without power for several days I'll manage living a stones throw from a town centre.

Home charger is an extra £500 on top of the asking price apparently lol,you would think the charger  comes all in....You paying cash for one out right? Or on HP? 😁

Feck me yesterday you lived in a village now your in the town centre is there anything you won’t lie about to try and be right, here’s a fact for you electric cars are cheap because no one wants them and those that have one are looking for a village idiot like you to offload them onto seems a pattern is emerging buys a running dog at the worst time in history to own one and a spac mobile just when the gigs up to ferry it round in lol

I've been quoted more than £500, and I'll be part-exchanging mine and cash.
