Mate , I regularly have to do anywhere between 8 and 12 miles with weight on my back , at pace .

usually between about 2 hrs and 2.5 hrs work .

I’ve done 30 miles , 25 , 23 , 20 regularly with weight on over my career. I’ve walked mountains all over the uk , Europe and Africa .

I know the toll / exertion / attrition that such distances place on your body , lower limbs in particular, the idea you wake up and bang those distances out is borderline delusional pal , possibly once or twice , but it’s becoming a bit cringe mate

autumn winter i’ve been in hiking boots the extra weight was getting me ankles in wellies they giving more support

most lads with dogs will be covering them distances stiff

even if twice a day 2 hour a time

we’re i go sometimes there’s 12 miles a footpaths in a circle and threw it all  you get a bloke that’s  in marines dead a winter weight in backpack doing laps now he is a machine al day coursing you see him unbelieveable

You're a bit like these Somalians coming over to exploit London while telling us all how bad it is here and how their home land is so much better.......if it was so much better where you/they lived you/they wouldnt be here.....simple.

Incidentally Mchull im just curious.....in your head have you got km's and miles the right way round ??
