Up on the side of Dartmoor foraging for Fungi absolutely stunning in the woods. My mate and I got a feed each mainly "Hedgehog mushrooms" "Chanterelles " few small Ceps. Loads of other fungi some I knew lots I didn't. I only take the ones I know.

Little wander along Cotswolds edge think I may have been on someone’s private estate lol when the pheasants started to alarm this bloke appeared and followed me at a distance bit cloudy on the drive up

I been watching lots a turkey shooting over there on YouTube, funny ole animals ain’t they, can see what they love em so much, i never knew how much the Americans love em, a lot of proper hunters from America swear it’s there national bird an prefer it over the scavenging fish eagle haha 

 

saw one guys man caved was awsome stiff he had killed, but had a big frame or maybe even 2, with all turkey beards hanging on display, looked cool as fcuk haha I’ll see if I can find the video

There’s a shoot near were I used to live that puts half a dozen down every year for Christmas used to mooch up round there quite a bit shit myself the first time I saw one flying through the trees lol

Bet it much better eating than the fast growing shit we get for crimbo, I’m not a fan of turkey but I reckon I’d eat them wild ones
