Too old to be out creeping around mate. A lot of Farmer trust me mate I would like to keep it like that. Not in any club just like to be out solo or some time with a mate.

Did join the NCMD only £8 gives you advice if you have major find and £10 million public liability.

I'm happy just being out I got ground but some field if it wasn't for static you would wonder if the machine is on Lol.

Just when you see a coin like that fires you up. I would go tomorrow but sea shore fishing club comp doubt much will be caught but nice to catch up with old mates and drown some worms.

Cheers Arry

Out on a ripped up rape field today not easy as ground so uneven. Nearly gave up seem barren then in a corner hit on a Elizebeth 1st 1561 hammered. Then this coin which I don't know what it is almost looks Russian. I have rubbed a pencil over it to high light details.

Any ideas guys???

Then picked up couple of flints. One on the left I think is a small scraper the other I think is a leaf shaped arrow head with the tip missing.

Lol ! Is there anything you don't know about ! ? 🤣👍

I have always had a metal detector mate, and I have been to an area where a small hoard of Celtic was found, but Chris Rudd was quite well known as a buyer of detectorists finds.

No mate, years ago though I was actually thinking of getting a licence to detect the tidal Thames,I have seen a few people when the tides out eyes only gleaning the exposed mud,I will have a look on YouTube thanks.

Mostly what they find is with the naked eye ,but occasionally detect it ,the si fella has a small hovercraft ,that gets him to some interesting spots ,dead mans Island? Skulls and human bones ,think it was a prison years ago, from roman stuff to modern 9mm pistols,
