Leo Sayer 3,496
Was intending to go out in dark in a ground hide and wait for 1st light to try and do some photography. But had curtains shut and got engrossed on YouTube ffs. So ended up going to same spot at daybreak with dog and catty for a mooch and do a bit tracking. Ended up dropping a woodie. Bought a little monocular to pair with my thermal . Just more compact than my binos.

Leo Sayer 3,496
Went out at 4.30 and sat in a natural hide a holly bush and waited for 1st light. Had my catty and other stuff. Took my camera hoping to get some nice pics. Had scent control on hoping for some real close pics. Unfortunately all I seen was a cock pheasant lol. Packed in at 6 as dog brigade out. So tried for an hour , you av to be in it to win it. Better than sat in the house. So in the words of Les Dawson I blankety blanked ! 5

Mr Wilkes 3,150
Was out at 5am this morning.. bitterly cold, had a squirrel and a wood pigeon but the alligator made sure that I couldn't take a respectful pic. 1 1

Nightmare when dogs gets at them first. This terrier just chomps down on them. My fault with letting her have her way with the rats as a pup that I caught in live traps from around my bird flights.
