Not much coverage about this in the news. Also read a report that the fishermen had started to block ports in solidarity with farmers.

When you look at the regulations it is a joke. They claim that cows create methane so the numbers in the EU need to be reduced. All that will do is open up a market for non-EU exporters. The world will still have methane production, but it will just be elsewhere.

They thought it was going to be a easy target. But doesn’t look like the farmers are going to give in easy. The police have been firing warning shots already.

The Dutch farmers have been shafted for years. Many have been forced to reduce their herds through environmental pressure. Man must eat and this man ain't eating vegan that's for sure.

Farmers are applying too much chemical nitrogen because they have been forced into producing intensively reared and grown cheap food…..by the very same politicians who are now trying to destroy them for farming to the rules they created !

Cull the dairy which will lead to a lack of beef animals which in turn will lead to a lack of organic matter to go back on the fields. Also driving up artificial fertiliser price leading to a rise in the end product
