jukel123 9,761
Anybody? I'm in Scotland . I was in a reserve yesterday and on their arrivals board were Swallows, Sand martens and a Cuckoo. I didn't see them though. Arry 25,332
Read this the other day. Swallows stay put through the winter BirdTrack has received almost a hundred reports of up to 12 individual Swallows in Britain & Ireland between January 1 and February 1. Most have been seen in the warmer south and south-west of Britain, and also in Ireland. The change in behaviour is one of the most remarkable signs yet of the warming world being caused by climate change. The Swallow is not the only bird being affected by global warming, our recent report on British birds and Climate Change indicated that a quarter of British breeding species might be negatively affected – with the Puffin, likely to disappear completely. Help us track these changes by adding your sightings to BirdTrack. Add your sightings to BirdTrack to help us monitor how our birds are faring Cheers Arry

Certainly enough insect life for them this week.
