Spent to many hours sat at the side of the course in a knacker truck waiting for one to fall. Same with the polo. All the fit birds walking past and I'm sat in a truck with flies round it, bored shitless. It's not for me, plus I'm to tight to bet.

no no no its not running at Cheltenham stone me ?...like i said ive only dipped my toes in the water mine are a couple of juvenile fillies trained down in Epsom but a certain share % entitles you to all the shenanigans of " big race days "......i couldnt be doing with all that 1k for 0.25 of a share carry on so chucked a decent amount at it hence the risk that go's with a couple of 2 year olds......the 6 furlong juvenile season starts the first week in April so we'll see how it all go's i suppose....who knows one day we might end up at Cheltenham....i doubt it but who knows.

So theres no tipsters can give a newbie the nod on a few cheeky little each ways over the next few days then.......just have to bet on the catchy names i suppose.

I knew this old girl from Warwick way who had coursing greyhounds and she had tried to register a dog called Norfolk in chance and they said no to that name so she registered as Tidland Dump (say it quick ) and it ran under that name instead ..

At last years meeting I did a lucky 15 (£1 each way) cost me £30.) handed me back £4554.63. Haven’t had a bet since but am going to my mates today and might have a flutter. Defo a drink or two. Jok.

I was really into years ago as teenager. Never putting big bets on though.. my thing was watching the national hunt racing from early on in the season and getting good ante-post odds on horses that stood out that were targted for the Cheltenham festival and somtimes the national at the back end of the season.

I got on a hourse called 'Master oats' early doors after seeing it destroy a decent field in some bottomless ground.

I got it at 33/1 for the Gold cup wich it won as the 10/3 favourite..

and i got 25's on it for the National.. but hecame in at 6th under top weight.. 6/1 i think.

Had a few nights out off that one though as a skint 17 year old.

Just had a reminisce below... lol

Don't keep up to date with things these days though.. but i did see a mare that showed some class win back in the winter and was targeted at for the mares chase wich is on Friday at 4:50. Zambella. 10/1 shot now.. was 16's back then. There's a couple of strong favourites in that race that i know nothing about, but I'd like to think she's got an e/w chance. A nice downpour  before Friday would help mind.. and no, i haven't backed it... lol

Nice one, I’ll get on these right away. If at least two out the three don’t win, you can expect a knock at the door.
