Cracking morning frosty and still. Was ask by a mate to give him a hand with this hedge. So with the long nets and poke nets on top of hedge we ended up with 28 that a brilliant day for us. Except for a little spell in the middle which we had young popping out it went pretty smoothly.

Three quarters of the far part of the hedge and a bit of that rough at the top of the field, bit of a purple patch about eight years ago I had a day over twenty mate.

Absolutely beautiful day mate sunny frosty and still, we have been lucky down here avoiding all that bad weather. Only four miles from home it don't get any better really.

Looks like you had great day at it, I was out yesterday ,netted up a hedgerow and dropped two hobs in and took 8 in a few hours ,ferrets and dogs worked well .I'm back at it tomorrow with long nets ,lot of young about but farmer as asked for it to be done and its new permission so got to crack on .

Especially when the young come popping out holes mate.

By the way nearly every Doe had young in them going to be hard going in two or three weeks.
