Off the pic? It would be 200m2 ?

No, that's the entire garden size mate. I'm only having the patio down and maybe another slabbed area down the side. I could do it with our young un but I hate bitting and batting.

These lads are some of my brother's good mates, I haven't asked them tbh I'd bet they cost an arm and a leg, proper flat out.

That’s the reason I won’t do it, if you have an edge slightly up it stands out a mile and the whole job looks sh*te, I’ve done polished sandstone before and that was a nightmare, the customer chose and hates it now, because it’s slippy when wet and like a 150m2 ice rink when it cold, when done right, like in them pictures, porcelain looks amazing, I just don’t think I’m good enough to put it down like that 👍

What's better than porcelain though for a patio mate?

It depends what look you want, if you want a very modern, high end look then my opinion is nothing looks as good as porcelain if you want traditional I’d go reclaimed, things like Yorkshire stone, if you want just a nice average patio I’d go for natural stone, like Indian sandstone

They all look grand in the summer don't they but ain't porcelain the easiest to maintain and the hardest to spoil?

Yeah, it cleans really easy, with all the other natural stones they are porous so the dirt get into the stone but porcelain isn’t so it’s just on the surface, just don’t drop anything on it because it chips easily
