like i say  dint feel ill  just abit shitty  for a couple of days ,done now ,i now folk that the fist one made them proper crap  ,ive had loads of inocs against various stuff  over the years  apart from the usuall sore arm for a day or two  they never bothered me .

Oh yeah I know a few folks who felt like they had the flu for about 24hrs. Plenty that didn’t. I think there probably are more sideffects with these vaccines but I also think folks are much more conscious of everything about the pandemic and its skewing perceptions.

It’s exactly the same as often the case when your body is exposed to a new virus the second time.

But how an why an what is reacting? If it's the same stuff in both shots, why is the body reacting? It just had the same thing injected couple weeks earlier,so should recognize it,?

Is it the immune system fighting of ..............

So it definatley causes a reaction in the immune system, but why if the virus is not alive,or have partially dead virus in it,what's the craic?

That's what I'm trying to understand Len,why is people's immune system reacting to the vaccine if theres no dead virus like old vaccines?

I still think i had kung flu over in southampton dec 2019, the works all had a really bad flu and 1 guy got pneumonia from it and was hospitalised.

Mate. I explained on another thread how immunity works and you just came out and told me “bollocks, your immune system eats up viruses”. Why should I bother?

i kind of expected  it ,but i was told before hand to take a couple of paracetamol tabs after  wich i did  ,no big deal  like as been said if you shove a foreghn body into you there will be a reaction  worse in some than others  ,

Don't bother then born ya crybaby lol ffs it's a discussion can ye not hak it?

You knew what I meant by eating thing.

Under the microscope that's what the white blood cells do,detect an eat,but anyway I just trying to find out answers because

bare with me hear

1when people's immune system react to the covid jab,is it because the immune detected a foreign invader?

Whenever the body reacts,is that the immune system dealing with the vaccine,or is that the immune system making antibodies from the process of what the vax is doing?

Il try an word it better lol

Whenever your jabbed, why are we having a reaction?

A because the immune system detects the foreign vaccine an wants rid of it,an is it making antibodies while doing this or

B the immune system doesn't bother the vaccine per say,but then is reacting to what the vaccine is putting out?

So is it building up antibodies to the foreign invader,or to what's inside the invader lolol

Yes, the immune system detects a pathogen and sets about dealing with it in a series of reactions. A lot of symptoms to either a natural pathogen, like a virus, or an unnatural one like a vaccine, are the result of the innate immune system doing it's job. But the innate immune system isn't what vaccination is trying to stimulate. Immunity is gained by stimulating the adaptive immune system.

I can't speak with any degree of confidence on why the second jab sometimes might cause a stronger reaction than the first. All I can do is speculate which probably won't help anything.

It's building up antibodies to the vaccine, which is sufficiently similar to the virus to make them effective against it too.

Il try last time to explain my question.

The flu shot has a weakened live virus in it,the covid ain't.

When you get flu shot with the weakened virus inside, your immune system reacts to the weakened virus,an creates antibodies?

You get bit sick or might not?

So when you get the new covid vaccine,it has no weakened virus at all,so what do s the immune system responding to?

Is it the actual vaccine itself,or is it reacting to what the vaccine is telling body what to do?
