Does it not mean 0.2 grams of brodificoum rather than the actual product? Like a majority of that sachet is cereal or pasta. Either way, yes, it's a hell of a product

Either way, yes, it's a hell of a product I was taught that it was that amount of the product, so a mouse would only literally have to have a mouthful of that vertox pasta bait. I was told on average for rats when using grain bait that it takes 10g of 0.005% difenacoum grain and about 7 or 8g of 0.005% bromadialone grain to kill them as it is a multi feed not a single feed, but I’ve seen rats eats massive amounts more than that and still not kill them in areas of resistance, but there is no known resistance to brodifacoum but your only suppose to use that outdoors in certain situations as it is so toxic

So I guess that only really stops you using it in fields, on bankings and cover crops etc. Personally I think it would be safer for wildlife to wipe out a population quickly rather than saturation baiting with bromadiolone grain for weeks on end especially if there is elements of resistance involved. I think we all know the biggest problem is amateur use of all baits rather than where a professional uses brodificoum
