jcm 2,327 Posted March 10, 2021 Report Share Posted March 10, 2021 Had a cracking start to the season doing some good numbers with the bitch then she came in season mid december and not been out lamping since but more out hunting with a small mixed pack of bushing dogs and done fairly well tbh. Sometimes i need to mix it up with my hunting as i usually just flat out lamping but enjoying hunting with a little mixed bushing pack the more and more we get out. 1 Quote Link to post

I know what you mean but always think by rights an animaL that’s had the nutrition of the first spring grass and has built itself up for mating season be flying now. Certainly the fox and deer seem to be strong and motoring now. Won’t be long though and bellies be full and it’s time to stop.
