I know bitcoin can be traded on FOREX, but to be honest, I get a headache trying to work it out !  You have to buy a "hard currency" with your bitcoin, then you can trade your usd for yen or what

I’m not knocking bitcoin simply because I don’t know much about it, but has anyone got personal, first hand knowledge of making a fortune from it ?

Not hearsay or secondhand knowledge , but has personally cashed out and made a fortune ?

Cheers.

Aye, a friend of a mate who I know, is in the top 0.001% of Bitcoin investors mate. Wealthy doesn't even come close. Serial entrepreneur and a bit of an "I'm amazing" sort but still, happy to take his money in business and ignore the fact he spends most of the time higher the James Webb telescope. His favourite story is he once bought a pizza for 2 Bitcoin

He hasn't cashed all out because it wouldn't make any sense, he's just moved a lot around to cash and reinvested ;)

Here you’ll like this rich .

couple of years ago I was away for a while with work and there was some turbo nerd there at the place holding court over the impressionable younger lads , pumping them up with all the best mines and trades to be doing , he would knock work at 2ish and spend until 8 or 9 “analysing trends “ or “speaking online “ on a desk with two screens hooked into it .

I laughed my f***ing head off when he went to buy his bag of monsters and crisps and his aqua card got knocked back.

i have no doubt at the top end of things , that there people making decent margins off a substantial investment . But for the common or garden bit coin aficionado , I reckon they would be better off clearing gardens or stripping apart cable for copper as a side hustle

My mate bought 10k of xrp 5 year ago and the price only went to 1.80 or 2 dollars an xrp and this year bought a house outright and done it up with plenty of change to spare. It’s not all complicated it’s just a waiting game and being paitent playing the long game your better off with money sitting in a crypto Wallet making money on its own rather than sitting in a savings account doing nothing and depreciating mate. It ain’t that complicated and it’s the future it will just be like a mobile phone in the next few years everyone will be using it.
