They do  jeyes cloth type mate decent tried tea bag stuff didn’t think that good clean fresh barley dogs straw dogs love it it’s what you think best mate just try some

When I had my kelpies outside I originally used medibed. It's basically straw which has had the dust extracted. However, they seemed to find it too warm and used to kick it all out and sleep on almost bare boards. Weirdos!

used to use a deep litter of shavings on the floor then shredded paper   in the boxes , used to buy blankets  off the car boots to use when it turned really cold  and had a small oil filled rad in the corridor of the kennels . had a  couple of heat lamps that i could move round that i used to stick on a timer for em a hour after a days graft ,, always had more kennel space than i needed and an empty shed with heat if i needed it , think i mentioned before i had a shed with rabbit hutch type gages after a days graft they`d go in them with the heat lamp on ..

My two are now indoors and when Ned was a young pup he'd wait for Noggin to move out of his bed then he'd pee in it. He did this several times, even though he was otherwise clean indoors. We watched the little sod like a hawk but he kept managing to get away with it. We've always presumed he was trying to either claim the bed for himself or put Noggin off using it...or both.

Edited to add...I mean he was leaving his own crate to pee in Noggin's bed, not peeing in his own bed when Noggin used it.
