Always amazing how quickly a carcass can go . How do the owners get on though as thought dead stock had to be lifted ASAP?

It's in my field. Didn't take long. This was at 05.25 next day. Same camera, no sheep.

No, just set to still pics. But they tell a story. First it was the buzzards, then gulls, crows and magpies, a fox, more buzzards and finally a fox took it early hours . Completely gone.

Lovely pic mate .Round here it’s more likely to be red tails as they seem to boss the buzzards about .We have a twitcher local who  reckons we had 43 pairs nesting within 10 miles of our village .Good to see them after such a long absence but that’s a lot of carrion every day .Three  on a carcass quite unusual I’d say .

Wow mate .I’ve seen them fighting like hell over a carcass while crows take the best cuts .I know hard weather changes everything .

When the buzzards had a break from eating, there were magpies, crows, seagulls and 3 separate foxes having a go.

This one seems to have a healed wound on his shoulder.

This one seemed to have an odd colouration on his flank. (It's the same in a dozen or so pics.)

And this one has neither.

This is nothing to do with that but I just saw it and thought it looked good.
