I no we have a couple of lovejoys on here and was hoping for some advice, I was given this by a very old man when I was 12 years old, it was old when he gave it to me and I,ve owned it nearly 50 years so is it worth putting in storage or selling or nothing, it’s made by PYE and has three pin plugs that pushed into the battery, I removed the plugs so I could attach a more modern battery years back but kept the plugs so they can just be soldered back on, over to the panel for a valuation, some silly offers and a few insults please ?? just found my grandfathers toy boat still working as well must be around 100 years old ??

The fact of having a radio older than granddad has to be worth more than that

Collectibles are a very fickle thing, if you want to make money and play the game you have to follow the trends, next month it might be worth ten times as much, it’s all worth what people are willing to pay mate, have been sticking things away for years, have two bin bags full of happy meal toys from McDonald’s cost nothing but worth a few Bob now and going up all the time, old car tax discs are something I collect as I think they will be worth money down the line ??
