They make an awful racket, in fact I personally think it’s one of the most alarming distress calls I have ever heard. foxdropper 17,092 Posted October 24, 2020 Report Share Posted October 24, 2020 Munties my second favourite after sika .Wish sika would spread as fast as munties .Cant walk anywhere round me without seeing them daylight .Night time lifting .You can see why they spread so fast ,they are never still apart from sleeping .Got to within 6 foot of a sleeping buck other night with thermal .It jumped up and went straight into a stream in panic Chinese bit localised and can’t see them going far Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Considering how many there are near me I see very few if any road casualty’s in comparison to roe, have bonneted a couple of roe myself while driving round the lanes at night slowly but never see the muntis unless the dogs push them out of the hedge bottoms yet on the Cotswolds I see them out all the time, Quote Link to post Share on other sites
