Mates dog busted his stitches so needed patching up,  before and after ......

You should be good, you have had enough practice in your knife making career !

During the 80s we all had a sewing kit with a bent needle, I used to dock all my own pups and inoculate them, I never once tried to impersonate a vet was just carrying on what I’d been shown, shame it

My dad stitches up half of the pigeon in plymouth after hawk attacks ; the same as he's always stitched any dog that's been in the house.

A vet charges around 200 quid to stitch a pigeon ?

They must have some hard b*****d pigeons down in Plymouth all thats left of my pals pigeons after a hawk attack is a pile of feathers ?

They often make it home ; top 2 is a bird my dad stitched (before it was trimmed) and rest are just ones I've found online.

Fair play, I'd be knocking them on the head, but a guess they're worth loads , I know my great uncle fought in the Boer war probably killed a few folk but used to tell my dad keepers were cruel as they'd shot some of his racing pigeons lol.

Id knock a feral on the head if I found it like it but he's spent thousands on the flying rats ?
