Your in the Stone Age mate cleaning roofs by hand .

Soft power clean - don't use a turbo Nozel ' use a standard .

Dont get the Nozel too close to the tiles.

After the power clean apply the Bio to kill off any microscopic pores.

Next day good coat of Upva Tthat also seals anything hairline ect.

Then 2 coats of Kingfisher Colourseal That seals and brings the roof tiles back to the colour of your choice .

Proper Job ?

Hi its called traditional lol

Iv done many roofs over the years, an by hand is the safest an best method, sure it takes a wee bit longer but the results speak for themselves.

Pw is not a good idea

What if there's tiny holes in the roof that you can't see with moss?

Water damage is a very real thing when pw roofs, not good practice imo, especially on older roofs.

It is a very messy process pw, by the time it takes you to clean down the ground an the neighbors were everything has been blasted is not professional imo, to much dirt flying everywhere.

Then you got water usage, your using hundreds if not thousands of litres to do a roof, what if your on a meter.

I could go on, but we ae Hall have our ways mate.

If not done right I agree.

Seen loads of bodge jobs where moss just scraped off then any old masonary paint put on sparsely and by hand .

No bio no upva - nothing.

Have a look online Kingfisher Colourseal will have vids up I'd imagine.

Broaden your horizons Francie ?

I have mate, iv tryed all the options, I like to be clean an tidy an have least to clean up after jobs done.

And check your gutters and clean them out incase a load of the stuff has rolled into them when cleaning or you could end up with damp if the downpipes are blocked and water ends up backing up and coming into your home .

Yeah that's another, all the dirt coming off the roof plus what's already in the gutters, blocking gutters an drains, no a good idea in my opinion.

Iv made a wee catcher for the bottom of the roof, so as when the dry moss is being brushed down, nothing goes into gutters?

I invented it meself lol

Get on Dragons Den?

No point, iv no money for a patent, every c**t will copy it lol

There's a space in the market mate, for a device to keep gutters empty, theres no good products on the market.

I think it's a site issue. I'm sure it's being looked at.

Do not, repeat, do not do as max is suggesting. You'll spend time, money and energy to achieve fcuk all. Those tiles have probably been on fifty years and now look as good as new and if you bond them all together with paint, pva or some other concoction and you need to change one your in a world of shit. Trust me I'm a roofer.
