Popular Post white van man 3,187
Decided to head up to Wales with the boys for the Easter weekend to catch up with family and mates. Always a good opportunity to get the dogs and boys out on the hills for a good run. We were lucky with the weather the first few days and got out to a couple of new spots. Snow came in a bit for the last day or so but we still managed to do a bit. Have had a bit of work done on the old landy so we had a spin out in that too. We arrived after a 6 hour drive and the boys wanted to get straight up the mountain Managed to make it up to the top before dark and the dogs had a good run about Decided to have a day out on Anglesey on the Friday so we hit the sand dunes there and there were a few rabbits about so worth the trip Had a good walk out early doors on the Saturday with a mate and his lurcher and was good to catch up. Few more beers than expected with some old mates that night so sunday was a bit of a right off! Had a break in the weather just before dark today so we took the landy out and had a walk up in the snow and out onto the higher ground. Great to see that the grouse are back. Also seen a red kite and a peregrine. Great little trip and I’ll be glad to get home for a rest! Edited April 2, 2018 by white van man 32 Quote Link to post

The farmers and a few of the older folk. I’m pretty much a stranger up there now. Lots of people seemed to have moved to the area from across the border!! ? Quote Link to post
