John, I’ll tell you what I did, I f****d off to a place that has none of that.

The UK at a social level could learn a lot from the west of Ireland.

The situation in the UK is plainly our fault because we were the thick c**ts that voted for these people.......to use a Nigel Farage term, we were the Turkeys that voted for Christmas.

Yes it’s a moan, but it’s also true and I take it your answer is no to almost everything I wrote.

Walk a mile in a mans shoes and all that crap mate........I’ll say to you, without any malice matey, if you had lived where I lived you would have voted “out” in the referendum as well.........I can almost guarantee it.

Of course but it’s 15 or so months and the clocks ticking and if we can’t do anything within the remit of “our means out” in that time then we should just f**k off anyway and let the cards fall where they may.

Oh ho ho, no it's not a no. There is little point in complaining about my experiences or success.

One pearl of wisdom I will share, which is golden, is the serenity prayer:

"God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,

Courage to change the things I can,

and the wisdom to know the difference"

With that the thoughtful man can achieve a lot. Find similar individuals and you move mountains.

I have achieved a lot I am proud of.

I’m a fan of sayings as well mate and the one that springs to mind when I think of the EU and  Politicians is “dont piss down my back and tell me it’s raining” 

.........the other is “f**k it, fix bayonets......charge !!” Lol

Leave with the EU with no deal and use WTO rules. If the EU wants to set up a border in Ireland let them. I bet the economic hardship won't be near as bad as people are predicting. Much like the sky falling in if the UK voted for Brexit.

I'm willing to take a few years of economic hardship in return for leaving the EU. If you ain't then you shouldn't have been a daft c*nt in voting to leave the EU!

It's all very logical to say we should be negotiating to avoid the catastrophic.... I've taken the same stance. It's very easy to then imply anybody that wants to just walk is stupid. Frankly it was the same argument being pushed on those wanting to leave before the referendum and before we had started to seriously talk about options.

Thing is, there are plenty of folks, perhaps a growing number that are so disenchanted with the political system that they only trust the most simple option and they're still willing to risk hardship for it, expecting it even. To them there is no other option. A lot of folks don't get that.

Greece fiddled it's books knowingly to get into the Euro. I've been to Greece, three things I took away from the place.

A lot of the men are treated like spoilt children, expecting women to wait on them.

There was open disregard for law, I saw bribery happen, I saw common sense road safety breached (160kph centre solid double lines of a 4 lane road) as no punishment could be levelled against the offender.

I saw how part of their tax system doesn't work. You pay tax after completing the construction of a house. Therefore if you want a two storey house, you apply for a three storey house and finish it to two point something stage - then never pay the tax as officially it never gets completed.

That was just what I saw, on holidays.

A lot of the Greeks problems are home grown within their culture.
