and they mock the cork accent...i havent a clue what hes saying ..lol

I was born in the Black Country and moved away when I was in my twenties. I married a country girl and now if I go back and visit family my wife still struggles to understand what they re saying

Hard times make hard men they say.

They were hard and the area I grew up in was rough but people were close knit and all us as kids all just walked in each other's houses and were fed and looked after. Out in the country it's different. People seem to keep more to themselves.

Tell me about it. I must have been the talk of the street when we moved to where we are now. Tree s cut down kennels up , trucks with terriers lurcher s etc pulling up and having a cuppa . Ah well they got used to it.
