I thought the same . For that price if you got a year out of it it would be worth it . I'm skint this week so if they have some left next week I'm going to buy one . Blackbriar 8,569
I've got a similar one, and its great ! The Lidl model has a weight capacity of 160kg, but take that with a pinch of salt - mine is listed as 180kg, but it takes basic gear,me and my mate - and we're over 200kg.....(combined, not each !) We've had some great little excursions up and down the Grand Union - go for it, and have some fun !
pesky1972 5,692
Hmmm, at that price they should be forced to sell bouyancy aids with them. Might save some daft kids.., or daft adults drowning.

shovel leaner 7,650
I'd like to see a risk assessment carried out before it's even inflated, a risk of over inflation and possible explosion . Not to mention the risk of getting wet and getting a chill !!! Edited June 19, 2017 by shovel leaner
walshie 2,804
I think Jim (Haymin) bought one of those at the first fishing competition. Seemed perfectly safe as he whizzed down the Trent in it fishing rod in hand.

The guy in the tyre yard used to inflate some and leave them outside the yard in hot weather for the kids to take and use .
