si brown 8,486 Posted June 11, 2017 Report Share Posted June 11, 2017 been out with my mate today! we decided it was time for a change of tactic so i had a word with the farmer.. he's happy for us to shoot from the silage store and top of the farm but he's never given us the green light for the actual main farm! until today so my mate stayed at the top and i tackled the lower part... my idea was we should get more by moving the birds about, it was windy as fcuk today but the bisley mags are a good pellet even on a day like today! this area covers about 7 good trees that hold a fair few birds... shots ranged from 20 to 60ish yrd my ambush point i only picked up the crows/jacks that landed in view.. there were a fair few too, the most came from a tree at the end of the strip at prob 55-60yrd only crows were landing in this one but they were pretty consistent,, it was on a bank covered in nettles so there was no way i was off fishing about for them! regardless of the wind the mags were hitting home at 1 1/2md hold over and 1 md windage" put that in cos the dog lads love sh!t like that" part of my bag... took the pigeons and dove home for the fridge! tomorrows tea tried using a scope cam today that David Evans sent me cheers Dave your a star but it wasn't easy, think it'll work fine if i set up a proper hide and use the primos sticks.... gonna use it tonight on the rats though.. it sits ace on the wildcat! watch out rezmond theres gonna be an other dodgy youtube channel starting up soon atb si 10 Quote Link to post

I've had the 95 in the boot for a couple of weeks now! every time I've been out lately its been bloody windy and the hunter extremes are crap in the wind! can't even bring myself to go out tonight.. been getting blown about all day on the gables!! atb si long day it want the springer!! dur Quote Link to post
