It's just sand beach for miles either way I'd go straight off beach on bottom but it's that's warm the beaches r packed out not that I'm complaining as u get a eyeful every night walking to and from pier???

Firstly I will say I don't know Brighton, but looking on Google Earth i would find out if you can fish off the outside of the south marina wall at the east end of the beach. Or the harbour wall at Shoreham away to the West end of the beach or the pier in the middle. They look like vantage points to me, Early mornings and say 8pm till dark. Good Luck.

Try half a side of Pout Whiting or live Sand Eel or live joey Mackerel first light close in say 20 yards or so. Good luck.

few mackerel about.i saw about 40 getting pulled in up and down the beach.i had 3.had 2 lines on the bottom and only had 2 spider crabs on them.west bexington.

Them spider crabs are good eating if there big enough. Worth a try for Sole after dark this month Cogden.
