She is a stunner the stock reminds me of a daystate

shoulders nice but if im honest the pistol grip is to small for my hands and digs in a bit

Its a cracking little I MEAN big rifle just needs to settle in to the pellets ,or even just try to adjust the power on it . Personally i like the rifle but the cheek piece has a really nasty edge i h

STOCK

Its very dry when you first get it and you DO need to OIL her strait away

The grain on this one is nice thats what attracted me to her in the first place

the point on the cheek pice is to sharp imo and i think this will snap off in time

under the stock its got some nice thick stippling for your for hand to grip

and its fitted with the same bolt as the hw100 for a pod so no need to drill the stock

but as you will see in the pic its not as well finished as the hw one

and the stock comes with two thumbs up position,s

COCKING BOLT

Its made of a hard plastic and it feels like you could snap this if you pulled to hard on it

like if you need a fast second shot and you rush it

But it needs a good pull to cock it any way so may be ok only time will tell on this point

COCKING THE RIFLE

When you pull it back it travels back a good way before you get the click that tells you its cocked and its stiff when you do this this could ease off with use but im not so sure

i may look into making it lighter

MAG

Its fiddly to start with ,,i had to look in the manual to see how you load it

you rotate the face of it clock wise until the spring is fully loaded then drop your pellets in

and push the face back one notch at a time loading the mag as you go

It holds 12 pellets ,,,now the pellets are loose in the mag they do not sit tight as they do in other mags and your first one you load can and will fall strait through and out the other end

you have also got to take care when doing this as its easy to damage your first pellet when you push the face of the mag back as i did a few times lol

it comes with two mags as well

I could see it being a pain out in the field when on the lamp so once you have zero,d fill both the mags be fore you hit the fields

The mag loads from the right side of the rifle and is easy to load into the loading bay

the loading bay has a grove in it that the mag must sit in then you just push it in

POWER ADJUSTER

This is easy to use BUT all you have is a + and a - and a few little lines to let you know if its high or low and there on the left side of the rifle so you have to tip it to see where your at with it .

It would of been nice to have the right numbers on there and on the right side of the rifle

AIR GAGE

This is easy to read and i would think good out in the fields on the lamp

if you needed to check how much air pressure was in the rifle

FILLING THE RIFLE

It was slow at first and seams to jump up in stages not nice and even as some are

some thing you may have to watch in case it over fills

filling adapter fits in nice and tight so some grease may be needed from time to time

as it may ware the o rings down

Shooting the rifle

When you push the pellet into place she has a nice click to her to let you know the pellet is in the chamber .

she shoulders nice and when you let the pellet go you get a little quiet ding out of her but its not loud so some thing i can get used to .

the scopes are not the best on this one so the first card was all over the place lol

but i got her there in the end only out to 18yrds mind

the second card was a lot better once iv changed the scopes ill get another set up for you lads to see but i think its going to be pellet on pellet

pellets were jsb exacts 15,89 gr head size was 5,52

iv fitted her with a A&M TWINK and it quiet apart from the ding lol

Good review mate :good:

...... You took feckin long enough doing it :thumbs:

I do like the look of that

....... Like you said - very Daystate looking - especially their older stuff which, in my opinion is when they made their best rifles.

That mag looks to be exactly the same as the Impact mag (Rapid) for the GSX 100 that I had

..... Good mag but, it took me ages to figure it out.

The stock looks like a kind of cross over between a sporter and a thumbhole - I like it

That nice grain looks even better with some oil on it.

I'll be looking out for your hunting posts with it - fingers crossed, it'll perform as good as it looks :good:
