it’s okay saying the wettest winter for 20, but that’s not in the hares favour is it, surely the hares from a wet season ain’t as good as a hares from a dryer colder season, no animals like being in wet all day every day, other than ducks an frogs haha you take your dogs home an dry them off an feed em an warm them up, but nobody does that for the hare, they hunker down out the rain, or atleast they do up where I stay, so hardly at there best if they been sat in a wood for weeks on end out the rain, or maybe it’s diff in hull haha

You can only run what’s in front of you that’s a given.

But explain to Mc he’s going on about wettest winter in ever making out it goes against the dogs .

Explain to him there is nothing hares hate worse that wet weather and being wet .
It knocks them back .
They hate the wet .
When it’s fresh and crisp they in the fields on the move getting fitter.
When it’s wet there forms are full of water.
They head for woods and hedge backs to try keep dry and don’t move around as much thus loosing fitness .
So all it did for 8 weeks was rain.
So when hares should have been at there best they most certainly were not because of the above .
They were probably better this season mid November up to Christmas .
A dog is only out in it when running or exercising / they in a warm dry kennel .
Hares were out in it 24/7 for 6-8 weeks of constantly being piss wet thru and we’re far from their best because of it .

Tell Mc the education is free the same as the advice for a poultice and a trip to the bone man

Common sense says hares live in a field or  holes woods pipes  dry thereself off its nature and nonsense to say the  rain bothers them now snow ice too much they will.drop.off sharp no.food 

The wetter the better for the hare that's a fact dogs struggle alot more why splodge etc only run good going couldnt run wet like 99 percent can't 

And January they were at there strongest id say
