Trouble is, most people haven't got a clue how their every day meat has been treated, you just hope for the best really or do you really care if it's not pet-like? Or maybe you are very choosy about y

Both, mate. I'd step up and say it's a step in the right direction and they're pandering to do-gooders.   Off topic, but I've yet to be able to sit through one of those undercover fur trade videos.

Every culture is different though Hindus for example probably think we are heathens for eating cow ...meat is meat whatever way you look at it .just treat the animal with the respect it deserves for

I do enjoy eating meat and hunting if I can get the chance. The line stops at animals that are normally kept as pets, as they are considered by me to be 'honourary humans' if you understand what I mean. For that reason I wouldn't eat animals like cat, dog, horse, hamster or monkey. The animal rights extremists tend to think of all animals as 'honourary humans'.

Trouble is, most people haven't got a clue how their every day meat has been treated, you just hope for the best really or do you really care if it's not pet-like? Or maybe you are very choosy about your source of meat? Obviously in this case with dogs, under that culture, it seems some have gone out of their way to cause suffering, which is totally fcuking wrong.

I had a cracking Horse steak a couple of weeks ago in a restaurant, it was a great piece of fillet, best Horse I've eaten........to some that may seem distasteful, but did it have a worse life or treated with less respect than some cheap supermarket chicken or beef?

The fact is, most people haven't a fcuking clue how the meat on their plate was treated on the way to their table....

I consider myself very desensitized when it comes to most stuff.. I grew up on a knackers yard/ maggot farm I've seen it all but the look in that dogs eyes chilled my soul its even difficult now to talk about. Try and avoid it you can't unsee it .

I always thought carnivores made very poor eating anyway.

well a pig would eat you walshie given the opportunity and they make good eating

They make lovely eating. Mmm bacon. But they aren't carnivores they are omnivores. Whatever we feed our dogs, they are born carnivores.

Eh up Kanny. In Middle East in the eighties and all the Phillo's were breeding and eating dogs. We tried to stop them but it was a way of life. These guys earned somethings like 100 US dollars a month which Marco wanted back in Manilla. Eat a dog. Cheap snap. Jok.

Dog Is still eaten today in the PI,back in the 80's skinned dogs heads and live dogs dogs were visible on market stalls in places like baguio, nowadays you don't see it at all but it doesn't mean dogs aren't eaten.

Korea is similar to Taiwan, there dogs and cats are boiled alive as a medicine.
