walshie 2,804
Anyone watch this? I'm sure it's a tough job, but I can't believe everything's such a drama. According to them it's a life and death situation if the road is straight, or twisty, or dry, or wet, or tarmac, or hilly, or it's hot, or raining. God help them if they have to overtake another vehicle on a 200 mile straight. I wonder what they expect driving a lorry in Australia.

scottish lurcher 185
Think what you have to think about is if u breakdown in the out back ,you could die as there mite not be someone able to get to due to conditions yeah the proper guys that go out in proper bush are tough lads, and yeah these road trains take while to stop so overtaking can be problem . forest of dean redneck 12,022
There was a series on Netflix about a rancher in Australia was quite good can't remember the name now. They had road trains bull catchers chopper pilots etc.

Any time the progam's on he's stuck in a river/stuck in the mud/has a puncture/has engine problems. I'm not suggesting for a minute it's any easy life, but you never see them just picking up and driving from A to B without a drama. Then I suppose an hour of watching someone drive down the road wouldn't make good tv.
Haiddheliwr 1,911
Love the computer graphics of what might happen to the trucks in the worst scenario! Never does mind bit disappointing really! Same as the guy in Mountain Men driving mountain lions out of the area, dogs do well and run the fu**er up a tree and does he shoot it? No he shouts GET OUTA HERE ffs
