You can read books like Communism and Nationalism: Karl Marx versus Friedrich List by Roman Szporluk which I'm sure is very entertaining bedtime reading but the fact remains the term far right is one coined by the communists and marxists and since they won the war against the nationalists in the 1940s the term stuck.
