This was a black powder hand held, not a punt gun. It fired five and a half ounce of shot ffs. It weighed a ton lol Big Jim could just about manage it but me and little Ted (R.I. P) had a bit of difficulty with it lol having a few shots at tree stumps on the marsh, hold the gun up, aim and fire. The wait between pulling the trigger and the gun actually firing resulted in a huge great furrow halfway between the target and the shooter He did bag several geese with it mind.
