Evergreen Oak Trees

Oaks take forever to grow and mature .... my father planted an acorn in his garden when my eldest girl was born who's now 26 and it's only about 10 foot tall and the branches are probably out to only around 15 foot .......

I know absolutely nothing about trees but that place Barchams is a hell of a gaff they know their stuff and have ridiculously fertile land we bought some young trees off them years ago on the advice of a good experienced gardener and he wasnt wrong......the groung they are in must make a huge difference to their initial growth surely.

Oaks grow better in ground that's already had oaks in, they produce mycelium or summat in the root system which benefits the next tree. A lot of trees are the opposite and benefit from fresh ground.

Ectomicorhizzal fungi gnip,i have done indoor tests in the past on indoor and outdoor plants and the root growth is phenomenal.
