The bible also tells us that the earth hangs on nothing, that it is a circle, it also tells us about the earth revolving, also tells us about the currents that circle the earth.

 

Its tells us to wash your hands after encountering the dead or diceased.

It tells us that everything is made of invisible things, things thatcant be seen

It tells us that stars emit noise, an that light travels.

 

Tells us of the hydrologic cycle, an that clouds holds water.

 

Tells us of the hydro thermal springs in the sea.

 

Tells us of the nuclear elements.

Just a few maten howd could they have known this thousands of years ago unless divine intervention?

Religion and people believing in it doesn't bother me one way or the other,at the end of the day were brain washed with religion from birth so people will accept it. For me religion is just the most popular accepted cults and an aethiest like me is just a person with no invisible means of support.

I'm not religious, never been to church never read the bible dont believe we goto heaven and walk around like we are now expect with angel wings. But I do believe there is a God or somebody watching over us. I've been in plenty shitty situations and made it out the other end and have been given plenty great opportunities in life that I don't feel I deserve. So I'm not quite sure what I am religious an atheist or maybe just an idiot.

Similar to me mate,though i do also put a lot in what Wilf just said about " look around you ".......but likewise im not really a church goer and cant get into the bible but i cant go against my own gut......religious/believer call it what you will i just keep it simple and call it a faith in God.

Mick you could also say secularism is taught to the children from a young age, it just depends who the childrens parents are does it not, i mean your obviously going to teach your children the way you were brought up, it our children an whatever your beleif thats what your gona teach them, soits up to parents what to teach there children, an its no one elses decision mate.

I just can't get my head around someone who has travelled the world, been educated in more ways than one but still believes in a god. Not trying to be a dick it just blows my mind a bit that in this day an age people still believe the what can only be described as madness that is in the bible.

My mum had cancer mate an she beat it, she had to get an op on her face, her face was a mess, took few months to heal up.

Cancer is a by product of or envoirment, its full of pollution, air water food etc drugs drink an so forth, but on the other handd theres known cures out there but there surpressed.

All the medicine we need is in the wild, provided for us.

 

Everything was provided for us until man got greedy an selfish, an slowly but surely poisoning ourselves to death, jmo
