kanny 21,600
Just spent a great few days roughing it in a tree in Herefordshire complete with my own fishing lake... It was real wild camping but we managed The tree house backs onto the Lake that's nicely kept but still has a nice wild feel to it.. This is by no means a fishing in a barrel type commercial lake I didn't see a single sole all week... I kept fishing simple with just a 7ft spinning rod set up with a bomb. A hunk of cheese tin of meat and tin of sweetcorn and a few lob worms I collected from round the place.. A few of the better fish I caught but add to this a load of small roach and bits and a couple of eels plus there was a couple more carp of similar sizes as the ones shown.... Nothing spectacular but still fun on a light setup and the chubb were decent specimens ... Some of Herefords finest All in all a great place I would recommend it you get a good acre and half of land and Lake to yourself I believe you can take dogs but nature comes first it's a big selling point for them the only downside if I'm being picky is theres a road quarter of a mile away that you can hear there's also a lot of cctv around the place but that's more a deterrent for wrong uns trying to nick stuff than it is for monitoring guests but does detract slightly from the tranquillity of the place. Great place just to unwind and very reasonable priced if your go in of peak times... We had 4 nights for £450 I thought that was good.. Here's the website if you are interested contact them and ask if there's any deals http://www.trunkquillitytreehouse.com Edited September 16, 2016 by kanny

Greyman 31,239
You should have made a deal with them for free advert and some commission on bookings, because I,m very tempted and don't think I will be the only one, I,m off to an isolated farm near Dorset next week or I would have booked it already it looks lovely
