scothunter 12,609
Typical bbc. Dredge up old shows that will never be a patch on the original. f***ing cheek charging gullible people 150 quid. see next month they are gonna charge for watching on your smart phone. Fail to see how they will enforce it! Were the only f***ing nation who would accept this. Time the bbc was scrapped it lost its status years ago and any it did have was certainly lost by its paedo cover up. Rant over!

The only reason they not gone pay per view is because they know no one would an they would lose money, all the sky subscribers are paying for licence.

PBS (Public Broadcasting) does show various BBC shows and it's free. Are you at the tipping point yet? Where everyone just doesn't pay the license fee, at all?! Like a mass protest? scothunter 12,609
I ain't paid it for years. I can get it,but hand on heart i very rarely watch bbc. Certainly not often to justify 150quid. Havent had a visit since moving to new address. Got few letters. Like forest of dean i like it when they say "can i come in and check your equipment " CAN YOU f**k! oh the yanks get around it by doing something to their ip. Not computer savvy but some geek wasexplaining it other day. NoNothing the bbc can do. oh they did say "we have a new state of the art detector vans" utter bullshit just to frighten c**ts

ChrisJones 7,975
350quid office chairs. Fancy coffee machines in the office etc etc etc That's ridiculous! Telly is free here but you have to sit through, a metric f**k tonne of adverts. But that's how they pay the bills. You can pay for a satellite subscription, which is waning because of the likes of Amazon, and Netflix. Or you can watch the free digital stream from the local network. If you're like me, and you live too far from the network, you have satellite only. I refuse to pay for that shite so I have the radio. Public broadcasting is decent for the news. The country station is great if your truck has broken down, dogs died, wife's left you, etc. Then you have the talk radio on AM. That's the real gold right there. Everything from UFO's, conspiracy theory, to evangelical christians... It's like the THL General Talk forum but you can have the lights off so it doesn't ruin your nightvision. It's that entertaining I'd actually pay £150 a month to listen to it! BBC can f**k off though!

ChrisJones 7,975
The glitch here seems to be that the fee keeps getting paid. If more people stop paying it then they'll have to evolve.
