Been out once last week.The dog caught 5 rabbits and missed a few.A good start for me.I`ll be stepping it up now.Good luck to everyone for the season.

i'm going out in 1/2 hour.

i have NEVER been so angry with a dog as i was 1/2 an hour ago.if i had a gun now she would of been shot.constantly pulling,i climbed over a gate,told her to stay and she went only shot about 10yds into the field but feck that then slipped on a rabbit and she must have thought she was fecking mo farrah and done 10,000 meters around the field.that's going to wind me up for days.

I'm never out to clear the rabbits anyway, a few will do me plus a go at bits n bobs.

I had a day on the fells with my pup and brothers beagles. Was a good hunt, walked about 11 mile. Wasn't warm at all and was a cool wind, but was plenty bracken and cover which does my head in this time of year.
