I liked her emphasis on keeping the union together. If I were Scottish or Irish, the last thing I would want to do now, would be to leave the union and shackel myself to an undemocratic and failing E

A lot of folks are rubbishing her but I'm cautiously optimistic given the options. If that's true then it just reinforces what I believe. We'll see...

I'm just glad there getting on with it to be honest

When she said 'brexit means brexit' it appears it was not just lip service.

I like what I see so far.

As far as Tories go I don't think she's that terrible TBH, better than some options certainly.

Right now, if you’re born poor, you will die on average nine years earlier than others. If you’re black, you’re treated more harshly by the criminal justice system than if you’re white. If you’re a white, working-class boy, you’re less likely than anybody else to go to university. If you’re at a state school, you’re less likely to reach the top professions than if you’re educated privately. If you’re a woman, you still earn less than a man. If you suffer from mental health problems, there’s too often not enough help to hand. If you’re young, you’ll find it harder than ever before to own your own home.

But, as I have said before, fighting these injustices is not enough. If you’re from a working-class family, life is just much harder than many people in politics realise. You have a job, but you don’t always have job security. You have your own home, but you worry about mortgage rates going up. You can just about manage, but you worry about the cost of living and the quality of the local school, because there’s no other choice for you.

At least she's indentified these problems, remains to be seen what she does about them of course.

So the problems are:

1)Working class people making poor lifestyle choices, especially regarding health.

2)Black people having low IQ's and being more prone to violence, the world over.

3)Some degrees being so pointless, that some employers prefer candidates without a degree at all.

4)Private and selective school's existence.

5)Women making different lifestyle choices to men, regarding family and career,it's still illegal to pay women less for doing the same job as a man.

6)Overpopulation,made worse by mass immigration.

Now the scary question is,what does she plan to do about them?

May is kicking triggering Article 50 into the long grass

http://uk.reuters.com/article/uk-britain-eu-scotland-may-idUKKCN0ZV1HU

British Prime Minister Theresa May said on Friday that the government would not trigger Article 50, the formal trigger of divorce talks with the European Union, until a "UK approach" had been agreed.

May, speaking after a meeting with Scottish First Minister Nicola Sturgeon who has been looking at ways to keep Scotland in the bloc, said she wanted to get the best deal for the whole country.

"I'm willing to listen to options and I've been very clear with the first minister today that I want the Scottish government to be fully engaged in our discussions," May told broadcasters.

"I have already said that I won't be triggering Article 50 until I think that we have a UK approach and objectives for negotiations - I think it is important that we establish that before we trigger Article 50."

Setting it up so she can blame the constant delays on the SNP.

Hopefully I'm proved wrong but that's what it looks like she's maneuvering towards
