My brother in law, his missus and their baby daughter have been up to see us for a long weekend. We were hoping the weather would hold out for today to have a BBQ for my missus birthday. Luckily it did. Dogs have been absolutely spot on with the littleun, my brindle bitch hasn't left her alone and lies by her side at every opportunity. My little break started Sunday when I went down to Wales1234 for a cracking mooch. Then today been to get measured for my suit. I get married in February... I remember when my wedding was months away and then I woke up one morning and I was getting married haha I think you are right fella. Lol. To be honest I couldn't be any happier with how she's taken to the dogs and working them. It's never been forced on her. She's always got the option to stay home and do hair and makeup with the missus or come out with me and she always chooses the dogs. She's hunting mad. Wether it's with the catapult or watching me shoot pigeons with air rifle. She can't wait to get home and feed the pigeon to the ferrets. I hope it sticks with her but I also understand that it might not. I will be happy either way. She's enjoying herself now and that's the main thing. 3 Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Don't matter if she keeps it up or not, she knows the right ways and the ways of the country, understands the whole food chain and knows how to respect/look after stock, tats the skills that will take her far imo them skills and that knowledge will set her up well in life, even if plays no other part than keeping her real.
