neil82 1,008 Posted May 17, 2016 Report Share Posted May 17, 2016 seen lots on using chicken skin to attract bass but nothing about the actual method, is it used raw and cut into strips to mount on a hook to imitate some sort of flapper or is it cooked skin that releases oils to work as a scent bait? neil82 1,008 Posted May 19, 2016 Author Report Share Posted May 19, 2016 reason i asked is a few of the locals here swear by it, but the twats won`t say anything about how they do it, used to do the best with peeler strapped onto a fairly big salmon double hook on the beach and sand eels on the bridge, got no double hooks left and too f**king old to freeze my nuts off on the bridge any more (if you have any idea of where i live you can figure out where that is, never, in more than 15 years fishing at night has that ba***rd place been warm or even cool) Quote Link to post
