Highlands: Wild Heart Of Scotland

Recommended Posts

New series about wildlife in the Scottish highlands. Trailers have looked pretty good, albeit it's got Ewan McGregor narrating.

Might be worth a watch if there's nowt else on. BBC1 Scotland at 21.00..., think that's maybe Sky 951 for anyone the wrong side of Hadrian's wall :tongue2:

just flipped this on and a bloke was saying how the forests looked like "dead zones" and he thought they needed to reintroduce wolves and bears . Mental man

its always f***ing bears and wofes they want. How about a introducing a rare flower or a simple vole or shrew. Guess that doesnt appeal to them. f***ing idiots!

I will say though they have done wonders for the wild cat though. My mate said "they aint fukn wild if they keep them in an enclosure ".

Well i wouldn't want one dropping off a branch onto me. You would soon know how wild they were.

I've been watching it and really enjoying the cinematics ..the British isles is a beautiful place I think we take a lot for granted ...it's not till I go abroad to some Mediterranean deserlate shite hole that I really appreciate this lush green fertile land.

Caught the end of it tonight, instantly wished I'd gone back to Scotland this year...love the place, it's stunning...

I'll hopefully be taking this Scottish dog home sometime over the winter for a run with her sister...

Its like another planet when you live in a shithole like Rotherham. That salmon the dolphin was regurgeatatin was a good fish.

if it regurgitated it within my reach it would lose it lol aye it was a bonnie fish mate.

Oh question for you fishermen. I feed my dog a tin of sardines most mornings. However i see a few guys fishing the sea loch for mackerel. I was gonna do the same, but arent they full of bones.? What would be the best way to cook them so the bones are easily gotten rid off.

Lol@pesky yea mate been caught up in a swarm like that a few times. Fortnight ago i was bitten to f**k by them. In a bad attack i come out in small blisters.. its funny watching the tourists and hillwalkers fleeing for cover when they attack.

Its when the dog brings them into the house though. Your f***ing swatting them for hours.

Do you still need to go through photo bucket to upload pics on this site? Or has it changed so you can directly upload.
