It's alright saying "why don't God stop these things"........well, why don't WE stop these things?

Is mankind not looking to stop these things ? .seems like every time we get on top of a disease there's another one coming along that's just as bad or worse and unfortunately praying doesn't seem to get rid of them ..enough prayers where said to stop Ebola but it was man that did for it and it will be man that eventually finds a cure for cancer along with the multitude of ailments that man has already conquered ..I consider myself to be open minded but find it difficult to see how someone / something if given the choice would create so much good then chuck a spanner in the works and create so much shite that threatens to wipe out the good ...

If we can manipulate the genetics of animals and plants through selective breeding,why would the natural selection not lead to genetic changes too?

 

And through the generations change an entire species,look what we've done to the wolf in just a few thousand years,imagine how far a species could change in a million years.

From wolf to bag of fur is mans manipulation, not natural selection, natural selection selects what's available, it doesn't create any new information does it, that ball of fur is far from a wolf but its still a DOG is it not.

 

 

It is now,but give it another thousand years of selecting for different traits (especially diet) and it could maybe be reclassified.

 

Give it a million years and it definitely could be,that's all species are,different classifications of life with different traits that reproduce true to type.

From what I've gathered dicease is genetic mutations, mostly envoirmental, some passed down threw family tree.

How can anyone believe the world is 6000 years old is beyond me. We have fact and proven evidence showing civilisations existed longer than 8000 years ago. We have cities/monuments underwater that were last on dry land during the ice age.

 

And some camel jockey comes along says hang about lads some mystical being up in the sky just told me he's ma dad and the world is only 6000 years old lmfao.

You answered your own question mate, are you talking human manipulation of genes or natures way?

 

Say you give it a millions years, how will the animal change kind type whatever, if nature is selecting, because dogs mate with dogs etc that is nature, how will this change come about mate you need to be more specific, I'm talking natures way not in the lab.

 

Look at nature now, each kind mates within its kind, this is observable tested science, were have you ever seen say a dog an cat reproduce, it can't happen, so I fail to see how time will help this, also you say millions or billions of years has passed, surely animasl would be able to breed with different kinds would it not.

As for your flood theory well there must have been a few floods because all around the world there are layers showing that at one time or another places were underwater several times just look at the grand canyon different types of rock sitting in seperate layers some are water sediment rock others are igneous or metamorphic.
