pesky1972 5,980
Conor Benn to fight Regis Prograis at welterweight on the farcical Fury comeback undercard. This is the opportunity he couldn’t turn down and is touting as what will be a “statement performance”? Really, I suppose it depends what sort of statement you’re talking about, but fighting a 37 year old who’s campaigned at light welter his whole career, and came up short of the top 3 times now, is hardly moving up the levels…, but I’m neither impressed or surprised by it. Piss taker.

pesky1972 5,980
Decent win for Moses Itauma at the weekend. Boxing’s about levels and you’ve got to move through them to find where you’re at, but for me this guy looks to have all the attributes to be a real handful for most if not all of the current crop…, and think a few might retire rather than face him. I don’t blame them.

Was just about to put a post up about the fight mate, ive enjoyed watching this lad over the last couple of years.. proper talent, plus speaks well, seems grounded, definitely a future superstar... Who next? I don't think there are many that can trouble him in the division other than Usyk?

Who next? I don't think there are many that can trouble him in the division other than Usyk? The guy is frightening. 21 years old. Bewildering hand speed. Destructive power thrown from different angles with a variety of punches. When I first saw both Joshua and Dubois box I was convinced they would be world champions. I tried to get decent odds for a bet on them each holding world belts, but the odds were such, that obviously, everybody else could see their power and quality too. They were well in the bookies' favour. And not worth spending money on. With this fella, I am absolutely positive he will not only be a world champion, but reign for years. He's got menace, natural ability, a rough background ( which always helps) self _confidence and a good team around him. I'm not even going to bother looking at the bookies' odds on him becoming world champion. Body swerve Usyk, he'll be retired soon, and he's the future of the heavyweight division imo. ( After that build up, watch him get knocked out in his next fight lol) Edited 5 hours ago by jukel123

I can't see any of the heavies around at the top level at the moment getting near him, same as you regards AJ and Dubois, I really liked Dubois when I first saw him, but hes not in the same class as Moses now, imo... it might be too early to be saying it, hes young and still learning, but id still put my money on him before any of the others with thd exception of Usyk...id keep my money in my pocket as Id struggle to call that one as well lol
