I thought as someone who has boxed a bit you'd appreciate someone who is so versatile, pretty much gets every fighter sussed out in a round or 2 and has the ability to change his style to suit/combat the opponent. This was hell of a weight jump for him but he looked comfortable all fight, it wasn't spectacular, but he was ultra efficient in everything he did... A lot of people really thought Spence Jnr was going to beat him comfortably, he destroyed him, absolutely tore his heart out.. I'd say that is where he's most comfortable, he looks great at Welter weight, maybe middle weight, but to jump to super middleweight and fight the best bloke in the division plus comfortably beat him shows real class imo Yes, he's a top fighter but his resume is not even close to being elite and a past it Canelo doesn't change that. Canelo has always had trouble with good, slick boxers. I can't remember many people picking Spence over Crawford tbh? And if we want to be honest, Canelo really isn't that much bigger of a man if it all, he's just bulked up and been fighting at heavier weights, I don't think Crawford looked the smaller man in the ring on Saturday? I'm not putting the man down but I think people are getting carried away now he's just beat a Canelo on the slide who struggles against slick fighters.

Hit and don't get it is what it says on the fecking tin lol, if Canelo landed less against Mayweather and took more licks, who's won the hit and not get hit comp? Their resumes aren't even close, Mayweather beat something like 23 champs and 16 of those were on the bounce, amazing, and that's coming from someone that wasn't a massive fan, but credit where credit is due. pesky1972 5,660
Eubank v Benn II. Wasn’t fussy for it first time but admit it was a good fight to watch, and so will watch the second. Why though does it need to have all these ‘pressers’ in the build up, with the bickering and the insults. Hearn has been selling every bleeding fight like this for years, and a lot of it is turd polishing and trying to pass fights off as diamonds. It lacks any sort of class and embarrasses the sport in my opinion. Whilst I’m on the soap box.., ‘rehydration clauses’…., shouldn’t they be called dehydration clauses? In the toughest sport in the world, where a man relies on strength, stamina, lighting thought and reflex literally to survive, why would you make him fight whilst dehydrated.., and why would any body sanction it?

In the toughest sport in the world, where a man relies on strength, stamina, lighting thought and reflex literally to survive, why would you make him fight whilst dehydrated.., and why would any body sanction it? Studies have shown the brain is more likely to be 'rocked' when a boxer is dehydrated. Its this rocking which causes brain injuries. Injuries are part of the sport, however authorities should do everything in their power to minimise these injuries. It just seems daft to me to insist on weakening a man to somehow make a contest fairer. What will it prove? That Benn might be able to beat a weakened Eubank? Eubank senior's brother died from a boxing related brain injury, Eubank senior's ex opponent Michael Watson is now horribly brain damaged and Nicky Blackwell was brain damaged during his fight with Eubank junior. All those boxers knew the dangers of boxing and accepted them. But to push the danger threshold further and insist Eubank comes into the ring more vulnerable than he should be is beyond cynicism. Eubank was hospitalised after the last fight because of exhaustion caused by dehydration. Let's hope he comes out of this one in one piece.
