Read the punch stats again, Canelo was more accurate, do you know there's a difference between punches thrown and punches landed? The man that has the highest percentage is most accurate. So, this ATG performance of hit and not get hit saw Crawford land a whopping 16 more punches during the fight despite throwing 200 more in total. Lol

If u land 1 out of 2 punches thrown that's say 50% but if chuck 8 punches and landed 2 that's 25% the figures don't show the work rate how he stopped him being how to set to throw his punches etc canilo wasn't close the figures don't reflect the fight

Of course, but total punches landed he only landed 16 more. And yes, that doesn't tell the entire story, Crawford dictated the fight by making it his fight, Canelo just wasn't very effective.

Fight went pretty much as I expected, I thought it was a very good display from Crawford, clever counter punching, clever punch choices and combinations.. these are top of the tree fighters, Canello throwing single punches too often imo to get noticed by the judges..  i think the scorecards were pretty much bang on. I'm a huge fan of Crawford, going up through the divisions and unifying like he has is some achievement...

Not sure what's next for them to be honest, I think a return fight goes the same way, and would it generate the same amount of interest, I don't think casual fans would of been over excited about last night's fight, boxing fans will respect and enjoy the standard though

Just pure boxing skill perfect show of hit and don't be hit but still.throwing combinations and fighting inside knockout power he'd be the perfect fighter

Canelo was taking a lot of the sting out of the shots as well when he does his usual head turn trick. If you want to talk about hit and not get hit, Crawford isn't close to Mayweather.

You're not a fan of Crawford then mate?

I thought as someone who has boxed a bit you'd appreciate someone who is so versatile, pretty much gets every fighter sussed out in a round or 2 and has the ability to change his style to suit/combat the opponent. This was hell of a weight jump for him but he looked comfortable all fight, it wasn't spectacular, but he was ultra efficient in everything he did...

A lot of people really thought Spence Jnr was going to beat him comfortably, he destroyed him, absolutely tore his heart out.. I'd say that is where he's most comfortable, he looks great at Welter weight, maybe middle weight, but to jump to super middleweight and fight the best bloke in the division plus comfortably beat him shows real class imo

Crawford is more entertaining but hit and don't get hit is what it says it is and Mayweather was not only more elusive than Crawford, he was also more accurate.
