NEWKID 29,317
At only 4" tall she really thinks she's a sight hound, She obviously comes from some real hard badger dogs back in her German heritage somewher, she aint scared of the dark.... much Then once she's too knackered to walk you can pop her in your pocket

beast 1,884
my missus had two standard wire haired when we first met, one had a super temperament the other was insane. both used to come out with the lurchers and hunt a bit, but not a patch on the teckel i used to go out with (my mates). both these dachshunds damaged their backs severely just hopping down the step into the garden before we met, its not just when they are growing there is no shock absorbers built in (legs!!) so the back is extremely vulnerable. she would like another, but personally i would avoid due to the injury risk
