Seen some mention ages ago on here about training books for lurchers, and someone mentioned gun dog books are better as they also explain on methods or different methods to over come certain things.

Was wondering if anyone knew of the best or a very good one atleast.

Interested in having one just to go refer to once I get a pup in. Cheers in advance.

Retriever Training The Modern Way by Susan Scales. Not very modern any more as it was published in 1976, but I found it very helpful 30 something years ago when I was training my first lurcher.

Gun Dog by Richard Wolters is sort of the standard in America for what it's worth.
