kanny 21,755
I would go self catering the food in Cyprus is fantastic and cheap we went last year half board and it was a waist as we ate out most the time because it was so much better than the hotel grub and we wasn't in a shabby hotel either.... it was nissi beach hotel....I really enjoyed Cyprus I would defiantly go again. Edit to add ...make sure you go to the Greek side Edited March 3, 2016 by kanny

It's cheap, really? I've heard it was expensive, tbh Self Catering does seem more appealing to me but the Missus fancies going All Inclusive.

reaper6 84
Half board for me ....i just like the freedom of going anywhere for a drink and something to eat.....if you go all in you will feel obliged to eat and drink there..and also some of the drinks are local brands of very poor quality unless you upgrade to the premium package

neems 2,406
I haven't been for 8 years, but it was comparable to Britain price wise, loads of nice places to eat though so I'd go out and explore rather than pay in advance for whatever's at the resort/hotel. steg 609
It all depends on what sort of a couple you are i suppose.. If you like to hang about the pool then go all inclusive and get yr money's worth..if not like me and our lass then you're wasting your money all inclusive (we prefer the beach, eat out and see a bit of the island ). Thing with all inclusive is you feel tied and you're looking at the clock all the time i.e breakfast time and dinner time blah blah. Only been the once (paphos for 3 wks..last week in July- first two in August, 5yrs ago now. Been to Turkey,Greece,Canaries,Spain and Tunisia and feck me Cyprus was the hottest! (50 not 40 all though there was a heatwave apparently that year) Foods class either way mate and sure you'll enjoy..
DogFox123 1,379
We are going to Protaras, after a talk about it I think we are going to go Half Board. It's around £200 cheaper per person, we prefer the beach to the pool but saying that the hotel Constantinos the Great Beach Hotel is right on the sea front.
