Retreive Problems

Recommended Posts

some lurchers (wont) retrieve , all mine have but 1. it was a lurcher x lurcher bitch, a lot of greyhound in the mix, she catch most stuff but just kill it where caught it ,and that was that. Nothing would make bring back to me, yet all my others would. The instincts of a lot running dogs is to just catch/kill the retrieving a (extra ) bonus  suppose as long as its catching that's the main thing, better than having a blank .!!

Bond up sounds lie he aint quite confident enough with you yet.

If hes making half an effort to bring the rabbit home the rest will come with bonding

Thatsmy honest opinion

Good luck

I think the difference is playing ball is fun,so maybe make a game of retrieving a dead rabbit until it clicks

My dog used to retrieve live to hand but has played up since having faster rabbits. Pain in arse but I'm hoping some perseverance will see him right.

Add some bull to the. Dog.
