How right Paulus is. I doubt best part of the population would have a clue what it was if they see one. They are a very secretive little thing and if you aren't out at dawn and dusk then you will not see one. Given that they breed so often and so few people are shooting them no wonder the spread is increasing.

They are so crowded round my way we see them all day long, they are like vermin, reckon your right though, not many people seem to shoot them.
